The Mission of the Scottish Rite

It is the mission of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, SJ, to improve its members and enhance the communities in which they live by teaching and emulating the principles of Brotherly Love, Tolerance, Charity, and Truth, while actively embracing high social, moral, and spiritual values, including fellowship, compassion, and dedication to God, family, and country. 

The Scottish Rite Creed

liberty of thought our supreme wish, 

freedom of conscience our mission, 

and the guarantee of equal rights to all people

everywhere our ultimate goal.

Organization

The Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry is comprised of four bodies, each which oversee their respective Degrees under the authority of the Supreme Council, 33°, SJ, USA.


The Lodge of Perfection - The Ineffable Degrees - 4°-14°

4° - Secret Master

5° - Perfect Master

6° - Intimate Secretary

7° - Provost and Judge

8° - Intendant of the Building

9° - Elu of the Nine

10° - Elu of the Fifteen

11° - Elu of the Twelve

13° - The Royal Arch of Solomon

14° - Perfect Elu

15° - Knight of the East, of The Sword, or of The Eagle

The Council of Kadosh - The Philosophic and Chivalric Degrees - 19°-30°

20° - Master of the Symbolic Lodge

23° - Chief of the Tabernacle

24° - Knight of the Tabernacle

The Valley of Phoenix

The Valley of Phoenix meets monthly on the third Thursday with the exception of July and August. Dinner is served at 6:00pm with the Stated Meetings at 7:00pm. Please see the Events tab to view more events and activities for the Valley.

Joining the Valley of Phoenix

If you are interested in joining the Valley of Phoenix, please contact the Ambassador assigned to your Blue Lodge or the General Secretary for more information. If you would like to Affiliate to the Valley of Phoenix, please contact the General Secretary at (623) 248-5079.
